Malko figures out where this location is and leads la Lionne and Hussein's bedouins to the spot. Ratwa, the King, and a small party of fedayins then lead the good guys out into the desert where they end up storming Ratwa's stronghold and saving the King. You get the sense that de Villiers might not have spent as much time if any in Amman as he had in the previous SAS locales, and the Palestinians are generally hot-headed and untrustworthy.
But there's action, sex, intrigue, and at least one scene involving horrific torture.
