Even through the written word, his demands can be felt, but the dominance conveyed through his word is nothing compared to the authority he exudes physically.

Jane longs for a man who can give her what she needs in the bedroom. She finds everything she needs in Ten, though, and what I love about her most is that she has the confidence to take the chance with him.

Even with the dominant and submissive relationship, the emotions seep through, and the reader falls in love with them as a couple. The plot of this story is the perfect pace and the perfect amount of details for a novella. The reader is thrown into the relationship, but Lili Valente does an excellent job at establishing the relationship for the reader through internal dialogue of the Ten and Jane. There is never a question about whether or not they care or whether or not this is more for either one.

The characters still have miscommunications that lead to the climax of the story, and when the reconciliation occurs, there is no holding back. And that epilogue, oh that epilogue is absolutely unreal! I loved it, as it is everything that encapsulates this couple. The characters, the plot, the romance, the BDSM all make Snowed in with the Boss one of those books that I will continue to return to this time of year, every year.

Aura and Milo are almost always verbally zinging each other. Aura is annoyed with Milo because of his sexist attitudes. This Christmas, Milo decides to go all out with the party in hopes of getting closer to Aura. Aura seems surprised and a little impressed by the party. Milo thinks he is finally getting somewhere until his party planner claims to be pregnant with his child in front of Aura. Will Aura listen to his story or will this party just be a big waste. This is a short spirited read. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

I had to really concentrate in order to finish this book. I was annoyed at the way her colleagues treated her. I liked her personality and her sass but I wanted more of her. He went on about wanting Aura, yet he slept with the party planner?! Even when Lance made a move on Aura, against her will, he still brushed it under the carpet. Milo doesn't like to hire hire females in the development department because he feels it causes a distraction.

I found Aura's roommate very funny and loved how he handled the woman trying to sink her claws into Milo once she realized Milo only had eyes for Aura. Milo is the CEO of the company and is drawn to Aura but tries to fight his attraction. When he over hears her blowing off the company Christmas party he lets her know that it mandatory and that she can bring her room mate with her if that'll work since she was supposed to spend time with him.

The flirtation between Aura and Milo is steamy hot and gets even hotter as the festivities get started. A misunderstanding could ruin things between them however Aura's room mate isn't having that happen. He makes her confront her boss and ends up helping out while he's at it. This was a great quick read and got me already thinking about the holidays. Mia Madison has another 5 star hit!
