What more could you ask for? One person found this helpful. The children have their father's mischief and as much as she loves them all, they are making things so much more difficult.
She doesn't want to break down in front of the Duke but is full of frustrations as he won't leave! Ok, so perhaps the entire book doesn't deserve 5 stars but the ending certainly does. As I have read all of Tanya's book, I love them all including this one. This story is about a broken engagement between Lucien and Emma.
I especially loved the escapades of Emma's bother and sister-in-law and her nieces and nephew, to bring the couple back together. It will make you laugh as well.
High recommended to read this book as well as all of Tanya Anne Crosby's books. I'm a sucker for holiday stories and this was a good one! Crosby's characters, especially the michievous and clever children, made me feel as if I were a part of the family. The story was well written and balanced between the characters and their dilemmas, with just enough spice and heat between them.
I will look for more by this author! This is a well-written short story of Christmas magic and falling in love. Leave it to the children to see what the adults don't want to see! Their antics were hysterical.
I just couldn't stop laughing! It was a lovely story a great story about the tree story how the Christmas tree came to be. When his young son is captured by a minion of the English king, the fierce Scottish chieftain vows to stop at nothing to secure the lad's return.
