Tom passed away at the St. Catharines Hospital with all his loving family by his side. Survived by his loving wife Dorothy Myre. The love of his life, his soul mate and best friend for sixty plus years. He leaves 12 great grandchildren who called him Grandpa-pa and loved him so much. Tom was an avid Habs fan, but his passion was woodworking. His shop was his palace. Tom was very ill for the last 11 years but pulled through many serious illnesses, this one was just too much.
His will to live went downhill in the last couple years. He didn't want to give up but his body was too weak this time. We will all miss the amazing man who we called Miracle Man. Elizabeth Tessier "Aunt Betty" to most graduated from the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in and was an active and dedicated Registered Nurse for almost 40 years, twenty-two of which were spent at the Niagara Peninsula Sanitarium, which was later renamed the Shaver Hospital. She loved nursing almost as much as she loved her family; she had a gift for knowing just where it hurt and what to do to make it better. As she requested, Elizabeth has been cremated.
