The book shows scientism to be logically inconsistent. It presents the arguments from desire and reason and considers the problem of goodness. There is also a chapter covering the historicity of Jesus and Lewis's recognition that Jesus was God rather than being a liar or insa "C. Tying Lewis's reasoning to current atheists' arguments provides a means of organizing some of Lewis's materials into a helpful format, but I don't think I would recommend this book to someone struggling with Hitchens or Dawkins unless the person was already a C. I see the main value of the book, which quotes Lewis and others quite extensively, being its overview of Lewis's key arguments for Christianity in a single book. Additionally, each chapter provides a multitude of additional resources for further research.
