Their music is eclectic and original, and I don't think anyone ever sets out to sound like them. You can't copy them, and I don;t think Jet are trying to.
General Comment I will never forgive myself for reading to the end of this. Most of the posts so far sound like this: Now get off it.
If you didn't like this song you wouldn't be here. Kinda like you shouldn't be embarrased to be seen at K-mart because whoever sees you is there too. Unless they see you shopping while they are walking by- then you need to move. I still love you K-mart. I'm not sorry for that rant. Had to drop it like it's hot.
You guys are all liars because Jet actually wrote this song about my insert story about past broken relationship here. I like the lyrics about giving him back his point of view and him asking the other person to think for themselves and to choose on their own what to do. I think we have all at least once asked someone else to make a difficult decision for us and this is a nice reminder to not do that. My Interpretation I think the song is a classic example of a person throwing away a really good relationship to go for the wrong guy or girl.
"Look What You've Done" is the fourth single by the Australian rock band Jet, from their album Get Born. Contents. 1 History; 2 Music videos; 3 Track listing. Look What You've Done Lyrics: It's like '09 in your basement / And I'm in love with Nebby / And I still love her but it fell through because I wasn't.
The video really showcased the song's meaning. It's still a good song. I think it's a song about a guy who was maybe cheated on. Two music videos were made for the song: One was of the band playing in a land with animated creatures; the other video had band members playing in a white room, surrounded by photos of themselves. Archived from the original on 20 September Retrieved 2 May The piano part and vocals are obvious nods to the great John Lennon, this is on purpose considering Jet claimed in a Rolling Stone interview that they never listened to anything released after Nic Cester usually roars like Iggy Pop on steroids but here lets it croon with gusto.
Michael Kerner Top Contributor: It sometimes amazes me about newer groups, and the surprises they can pull to people. That definitely has been the case with Jet.
The latest single, Look What You've Done is a real from their earlier singles. The song is very simplistic, and really a truly surprising pop song. The song really is one of the very few songs out right now, that truthfully isn't manufactured garbage. Hopefully, Jet can keep the pace up. This is as good as it gets! Look what you have done is a hit.
This cd is pretty good. Just like their others they play it as it is. Not many bands can pull it off and this is it! Buy this and i also recommend get born!
They are better then most bands like simple plan I mean, if you took every Lennon song written post, compressed them into a pill, and swallowed the pill, you'd regurgitate this song. I'm an old f-rt and all I listened to from to the early s was Beatles music, band and solo, so it's kind of in my DNA code at this point.
Having said that, it's a good song. How could it not be?
It's channeled straight from Lennon. I like Jet and all the songs from them I've heard so far: Except this song, which is only whiny because some of Lennon's music was whiny, too but in a good way. Think of a song that brings out meaning only when you sing along to it. A Kid's Review 5. Somebody realy needs to take a restraining order out to keep JET and ballards as far away from one another as possible.
Sorry not very believable in the ballard singing department. I just don't buy it. See all 8 reviews. There's a problem loading this menu right now. Learn more about Amazon Prime. Get fast, free shipping with Amazon Prime. Get to Know Us.
