Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Very annoying with each line translated. Thought I was getting one version then the other. Drives you nuts to read. Very hard to navigate! I wish it was a little more user friendly because it doesn't match up to most other translations. Don't be fooled by the title 'Original Version' into believing that this is a parallel text edition with the Anglo-Saxon original and an English translation. Actually it is two English translations of the original text.

If you can't read Anglo-Saxon and want to get as close as possible to the idea of what the poetry is like, this is probably a good edition for you. I bought it in a bit of hurry as I wanted to look something up and was away from home where I could have used my print editions. Not sure why it is "Part II" which was what put me off the first time, it is the full text. However, be warned, the kindle edition does not preserve the layout normally used in print editions - instead of each line of the poem on a new line, it is all over the place - which is a bit annoying when you are reading.
