The Nine Princesses Novellas is a series that chronicles the adventures of an unconventional family of princesses, the struggles they face in a kingdom often hostile to their humble origins, and the day-to-day dramas of nine young women whose personalities often clash like swords. Recommended for ages 12 and up. As soon as I finished the first one I picked up this one. I was interested in seeing how some of the open plot points were worked in.
While all our questions still are not answered I am more confident that eventually they will be. Again this is another cute story. I will admit Coralina is probably going to be my least favorite princess. I always had a diversion to girls who know they are pretty and flaunt it to get what they want. But at the same time I feel like what Gord did to her was a little harsh. Coraline is very used to getting what she wants and playing any gentleman to get it. Only problem is her reputation has preceded her, so her flirting is getting her nowhere. She devises a scheme after he accidently sends her into the lake to try and get back at him.
But can she really pull it off or will she finally learn what it feels like to be used. I felt a little cheated at the end am wondering how and if this will play out in later books. PG — Great for girls of any age. See our review of Maelyn the first in the nine princesses Novellas.
When eighteen-year-old Irene Adler meets her new neighbor, the gorgeous, brilliant, and arrogant Sherlock Holmes, she never expects him to be the one to make her feel like life is worth living again. Locked is the story of a broken girl and the genius who gives her life back to her. Poor Irene and Sherlock. You should just go and read the Sherlock Holmes stories. The book starts out with Irene using her secret life as a problem solver to keep her depression at bay.
Then she meets Sherlock Holmes. She offers him a distraction from his boredom. He offers her the excitement that staves off her depression. Two damaged souls working to help one another. That is how a romance works right? I think this story is much more than a romance though. The only word of warning I can offer is that there are a couple of missing words and a few words that are misplaced. I really enjoyed this book. It is also just a great YA book. How can you say no to a book that includes notes written by the man himself. Eva Morgan has answered the call. PG Irene puts herself in danger.

As the sun began to fade over the Pacific, Trump then listened intently to a National Park Service tour guide, stopping briefly at a display that explained how some survivors of the attack, when they die years later, have chosen to be cremated and have their ashes placed in the sunken ship alongside the remains of their fallen colleagues. Trump said not a word about North Korea or its nuclear ambitions on Friday, the eve of his first official visit to Asia.

Houston — US authorities released a year-old immigrant girl with cerebral palsy who had been detained by border agents after surgery because she is in the US without legal permission. Her parents brought her into the US from Mexico in , when she was a toddler, and they live in the Texas border city of Laredo.
A cousin who is an American citizen took Rosa Maria from Laredo to a children's hospital in Corpus Christi on October 24, where she was scheduled to have emergency gallbladder surgery. To get to Corpus Christi, about km away, she had to pass through an interior checkpoint in South Texas operated by the Border Patrol. Border Patrol agents followed Rosa Maria and the cousin to the hospital, then took the girl into custody after the surgery and transported her to a facility in San Antonio for unaccompanied immigrant minors, under the custody of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
The Border Patrol has said it had no choice but to detain Rosa Maria, arguing that she was considered an unaccompanied minor under federal law, the same as a child who crosses into the United States alone without legal permission. Tan said on Friday that Border Patrol agents had issued Rosa Maria a notice to appear in immigration court, but that the case had yet to move forward.
HHS declined to comment on Rosa Maria's case, but said the agency's focus was "on the safety and best interest of each child". Leticia Gonzalez, an attorney for Rosa Maria's family, said the year-old had the mental capacity of a child closer to 4 or 5 years old due to her cerebral palsy. Priscila Martinez, an activist at the Workers Defence Action Fund, said the child had started to show signs of socially withdrawing while in detention and refusing to eat her favourite kind of bread.
Federal immigration authorities have faced strong criticism from advocates and some Texas Democratic congressmen over their handling of the case. Castro, a San Antonio Democrat, said on Friday that he had tried to see Rosa Maria earlier in the day and had spoken to federal officials about her case.
He said Border Patrol agents could have chosen to let Rosa Maria pass through the checkpoint without following or detaining her. But US Customs and Border Protection said in a previous statement after she was detained that "there is no discretion with regard to the law whether or not the agents should enforce the law". Gabriel Acosta, assistant chief patrol agent for the Border Patrol's Laredo sector, said on Tuesday that his agents moved quickly to get her through the checkpoint and "acted professionally and compassionately to get this child the medical attention she needed".

AP - For the first time in eight years, Bowe Bergdahl doesn't face confinement, or the threat of it, after a judge spared the soldier from a prison sentence for endangering his comrades by walking off his post in Afghanistan. The sentence, which also includes a dishonorable discharge, was quickly condemned by President Donald Trump as a "complete and total disgrace. The punitive discharge means the case will automatically be appealed to a higher military court.
And a top commander will also review the case and consider arguments for leniency, as is standard in Army legal cases. Bergdahl walked away from his post in Afghanistan, triggering a search that left some of his comrades severely wounded. He was also captured and held by Taliban allies for five years, and his legal case began when he returned to the U. The judge gave no explanation of how he arrived at his decision, but he reviewed evidence that included Bergdahl's captivity and the wounds suffered by troops who searched for him.
The case was politically divisive. President Barack Obama traded Taliban prisoners to bring Bergdahl back in , drawing sharp Republican criticism. As a presidential candidate, Trump called for the soldier to face stiff punishment. He could have received up to life in prison. Defense lawyer Eugene Fidell told reporters that his client had "looked forward to today for a long time. Trump's statement came in a tweet about 90 minutes after the sentencing. Bergdahl pleaded guilty last month to desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.
The judge had wide leeway in deciding the sentence because Bergdahl made no deal with prosecutors to limit his punishment. Prosecutors had sought a stiff penalty because of wounds suffered by service members who searched for Bergdahl after he disappeared in The defense sought to counter that evidence with testimony about Bergdahl's suffering as a captive, his contributions to military intelligence and his mental health problems.
The argument for leniency also cited Trump's harsh campaign-trail criticism. The dishonorable discharge threatens to deprive Bergdahl of most or all his veterans' benefits, but it also triggers the automatic appeal to a higher military court. Fidell told reporters that he looks forward to the appeals court review of Trump's campaign statements, which the president appeared to reaffirm on the day Bergdahl pleaded guilty last month.
The Friday tweet will also figure into defense arguments. As a candidate, Trump "made really extraordinary reprehensible comments targeted directly at our client," Fidell told reporters Friday. He said the defense team sees "an extremely strong basis for dismissal of the case. A psychiatrist testified that his decision to leave his post was influenced by a schizophrenia-like condition called schizotypal personality disorder that made it hard to understand the consequences of his actions, as well as post-traumatic stress disorder brought on partly by a difficult childhood.
Prosecutors, who had asked for a sentence of 14 years in prison, did not speak to reporters. But during closing arguments, they focused on the dangerous search missions that left several service members wounded. Scores of troops joined in an all-out search for Bergdahl in the weeks after he abandoned his remote post. Prosecutors cited two missions that resulted in wounds, including a soldier whose hand was shattered by a rocket-propelled grenade and another who suffered a head wound that put him in a wheelchair and rendered him unable to speak.
The judge ruled that those firefights would not have happened if not for Bergdahl. One of the wounded soldiers, Jonathan Morita of California, called the lack of prison time "unacceptable. Referring to the lack of prison time, he said: This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed. No prison for Bergdahl in sentencing for walking off post thenewstribune. When the US president gets to Seoul on Tuesday, however, it is a different story. Although it is a state visit, he will only have time for a cup of tea with President Moon Jae-in in his office before their state dinner. The varied itineraries reflect a broader discrepancy in his ties with the two leaders. Trump is expected to spend 48 hours in Japan and 24 in South Korea during his trip to Asia.
Trump repeatedly criticised Japan and South Korea on the campaign trail, wondering why the United States was paying to defend two rich countries and throwing trade deals with both into doubt. Since that first encounter, the two have met in person seven more times and spoken on the phone at least 14 times. It is only on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the Pacific Rim trade deal from which Trump withdrew, that they have publicly diverged. As a result, while North Korea fired off missiles and threats, Trump often overlooked South Korea and instead talked with Japan and China.
Since he was elected president in May, Moon has met Trump on several occasions and the White House has emphasised the importance of the security alliance with South Korea. But the two have not hit it off in the way Trump and Abe have. That is only partly because of personal style. Abe and Trump are conservatives who have taken a hard line on North Korea, while Moon is a liberal who favours engagement with Pyongyang and opposed deployment of a US antimissile battery in the South.
We see Trump following through on his campaign rhetoric much more with Korea than with Japan. Still, this will be the first state visit to South Korea by an American president in 25 years. Trump will attend a state dinner — compared with a regular banquet in Japan — and visit Camp Humphreys, south of Seoul, the largest American military base outside the United States and one to which South Korea has contributed more than half the cost.
Trump will also become the first US president in a quarter-century to deliver a speech in the National Assembly. But some South Korean officials are worried about what he might say. He could go off-script. Thousands gathered at the former US embassy in central Tehran where a missile, believed to be a 1,mile 2,km range solid-fuel Sejjil, was on display.
It was the first time Iran had displayed a missile during the annual gathering. They took 52 Americans hostage for days after Washington refused to hand over the shah, who was in the US. State TV said similar celebrations were being held in other Iranian cities and towns. US President Donald Trump refused to re-certify the landmark nuclear deal between Iran and world powers in October and the US has imposed more sanctions on Iran over its ballistic missile programme.
The US Congress must now make a decision regarding the nuclear deal, in which Iran agreed to limit its enrichment of uranium in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions. Ali Shamkhani, secretary of the country's Supreme National Security Council, addressed the crowd, saying Iran will make any sanctions imposed by the US "ineffective" even as the US targets Iran's economic, nuclear and defensive power. The former embassy in Tehran is now a cultural centre while standing as a symbol of a US defeat for many Iranians.
Many Iranians call it the "den of spies". The US cut diplomatic ties with Iran following the embassy takeover and has had no diplomatic relations since. Netflix said it will work with the show's production company MRC to evaluate whether it will continue without him. The year-old Spacey was nominated for best drama actor Emmy Awards during each of the show's first five seasons, but never won. He played a ruthless politician who ascends to the presidency of the United States. Co-star Robin Wright is also a central player on the show, and it could conceivably continue with a focus on her.
Production on the show had already been suspended on Tuesday. Netflix says it also will refuse to release the film "Gore," in which Spacey stars as the writer Gore Vidal and also acted as producer. CNN reported that eight current or former "House of Cards" workers claim that Spacey made the production a "toxic" workplace and one ex-employee alleges the actor sexually assaulted him.
Spacey has not been arrested or charged with any crime. His publicist did not immediately return an email message late Friday night seeking comment. A publicist said earlier this week that Spacey is "taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment. Spacey has said he doesn't remember the alleged encounter reported by BuzzFeed News last weekend but apologized if such "drunken behavior" occurred.
The story spurred several others to come forward with similar allegations about Spacey. London police are reportedly investigating Spacey for a sexual assault, British media reported Friday. Police did not identify Spacey by name but said the department's child abuse and sexual offenses unit is investigating the reported assault after it was referred to police earlier this week. None of the three teams is guaranteed entry into the postseason, and the Sailors know that all too well. What Burns could guarantee, though, was that the Sailors played inspired football on Friday. As the defensive coordinator, he could be especially happy with the performance.
The Sailors were stout. Huntington Beach did not get a first down on its first three drives of the game, and had just 78 yards from scrimmage in the first half. Huntington Beach tied the score midway through the third quarter when quarterback Arick McLawyer found a seam on the right side and was gone for a yard touchdown run. But the Sailors responded with their own long touchdown run two possessions later, with Colin Gregg scoring on a yard counter play.
Raphael Cruz made plays on both sides of the ball in the fourth quarter to help put the game out of reach for Newport Harbor. Three plays later, Cruz caught a yard touchdown pass from Barela, diving in at the front right pylon to put the Sailors up two scores with 7: McLawyer tried to drive his team back down the field. China's rubber-stamp legislature on Saturday made disrespecting the national anthem a criminal offense punishable by up to three years in prison amid rising nationalist appeals from the ruling Communist Party under the leadership of President Xi Jinping. The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed an amendment to the country's criminal law outlining punishments for people found "seriously" disrespecting the national anthem in public. The move follows Xi's appointment to a second five-year term as party leader, for which he has touted a vision of achieving a "Chinese Dream" of a powerful, prosperous nation.
It also comes as the anthem, "March of the Volunteers," has in recent months been a political flashpoint in the southern Chinese city of Hong Kong, where tensions are rising over Beijing's efforts to assert its authority over the territory. According to the amendment passed Saturday in Beijing, penalties include detention, imprisonment of up to three years and the deprivation of political rights. Such punishments previously applied to the desecration of the national flag and emblem in public, China's official Xinhua News Agency reported.
The legislature also moved to apply a separate, recently passed law on the national anthem to Hong Kong and Macau, Chinese semiautonomous regions with separate legal systems. Soccer fans in Hong Kong have booed the anthem when it's played at games between the home team and teams from China or other countries, leading to fines from FIFA, the sport's governing body. Pro-democracy activists and lawmakers fear a national anthem law could be used to undermine freedom of speech in Hong Kong.
The National Anthem Law, which came into effect in October, stated that playing the anthem on occasions deemed improper, including funerals, or for changing its wording or presenting it in a disrespectful manner could be punished with 15 days in detention. China's legislature adopted a decision to include the law in Hong Kong's and Macau's mini-constitutions, known in each territory as the Basic Law. Since his appointment as party leader in , Xi has established a growing cult of personality that leans heavily on his image as a patriotic leader who brooks no slight to national dignity.
Hallmarks of his term in office have included a stronger military, bolder foreign policy and aggressive economic expansion abroad, as well as sharply reduced space for criticism or political dissent at home. China makes disrespecting national anthem punishable by jail thenewstribune.

Islamic State IS on Friday lost control of two of the last major towns under its grip in Syria and Iraq, as Syrian troops and Iraqi security forces advanced in the Euphrates Valley border region.
The simultaneous assaults on Deir-ez-Zor in eastern Syria and al-Qaim in western Iraq dealt fresh blows to IS in its former heartland, leaving Albu Kamal, on the Syrian side of the border, as the last town of note under its control.
State television said engineering units from the army were combing captured neighbourhoods to clear mines and other explosives. Syrian forces entered Deir-ez-Zor city in September, breaking an IS siege of nearly three years on government-held parts of the provincial capital. The battle has been ferocious, with heavy Russian air strikes and Syrian artillery fire leaving much of the city in ruins. But in , IS jihadists seized the city and much of the surrounding province, including vital oil and gas fields that once served as a key source of revenue for the extremists.
IS has now been driven from most of its strongholds in Deir-ez-Zor, but it still controls more than 35 per cent of the province, much of it empty desert. Its last major position is the town of Albu Kamal, though it also holds a string of smaller towns and villages and at least one oilfield, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor.
IS, which at its peak controlled territory roughly the size of Britain, has suffered a string of losses in recent months in both Syria and Iraq. Despite its defeats on the battlefield, analysts are warning that IS is not down and out in the absence of a political vision to ensure stability in Iraq and Syria. In Deir-ez-Zor province, IS is under attack from both regime and SDF forces, while across the border in Iraq it had retained a foothold in just a single town, al-Qaim, after losing its stronghold of Mosul in July and the town of Hawija in October.
Iraqi forces captured al-Qaim within hours of seizing an important border crossing nearby, military commanders said on Friday. The Britain-based Observatory said several trucks with dozens of IS fighters fleeing from al-Qaim crossed the border and sought refuge in Albu Kamal. Government forces launched the operation last week to seize al-Qaim and its surroundings, a barren pocket of desert along the Euphrates near the Syrian border. On the other side of the border, Syrian regime forces are now around 30km from Albu Kamal.
Their advance on Albu Kamal is being supported by Russian air power. On Friday, four members of the same family were killed in an air strike on an IS-held village south of Albu Kamal, the Observatory said, without identifying the aircraft. That was the point of emphasis this week, getting back to that mentality. He did not travel to Salt Lake City and his absence was obvious as the Bruins were held to total yards. Redshirt freshman Devon Modster made his first career start. Neither team's offense look particularly coherent in the first half, but Utah exploded in the third quarter to put the game away. The Utes scored on their first three drives of the second half after leading at halftime.
Utah running back Troy McCormick caught a yard touchdown on a wheel route on the first play of the third when a UCLA defender ran into a receiver. Modster was efficient, but the trust clearly wasn't there. UCLA had eight first-half pass attempts, including one by a receiver, and 16 rushes. The offense is built around Rosen and it turned into a running scheme without him.
The Utes adjusted their goals after the four-game losing streak to get the seniors to a bowl game.

Pekka Rinne made 35 saves and P. Subban added an empty-net goal with 18 seconds left to seal it. The Predators had lost four straight in Anaheim since their previous victory on April 4, Antoine Vermette, Hampus Lindholm and Jakob Silfverberg scored for the Ducks, who cut it to in the third period after trailing by three late in the second.
Anaheim pulled within one at 7: Derek Grant's shot went wide of the net and off the backboards before Silfverberg put in the rebound. Nashville opened a lead early in the second. Predators defenseman Matt Irwin fired a shot from just beyond the left circle and past goalie John Gibson for his first of the season. Anaheim responded moments later, finally getting its passing game going. Nick Ritchie stole a pass at the blue line and sent it to Ondrej Kase near the net.
When Rinne turned to face him, Wagner sent the puck to Vermette, who all but pushed it in. Both teams scored on the power play near the end of the second. Arvidsson's slap shot put the Predators ahead , but Lindholm answered with 15 seconds left in the period to leave Nashville up heading into the third.
Nashville took a lead in the first. With the Ducks having trouble passing, Josi made a sharp feed in front to Hartnell, who flicked it into the net. With a hum like a thousand bees, the small Hive Mind Nova quadcopter lifted off for a mission seen as one of the most dangerous combat troops and law enforcement officers can undertake. Entering and clearing a building. A team of humans can spend a half hour or so risking their lives on the task. But the Hive Mind Nova, made by Shield AI and equipped with artificial intelligence, wended its way through twists and turns in just a few minutes — avoiding objects, detecting human forms and the dead spaces where they can hide, even operating in the dark.
All by itself, and all while sending out full motion video and mapping the interior. The event took place at a newly constructed "shoot house" inside the new 30, square foot Sofwerx center, once a church in Ybor City. The rodeo, which was set to run through Friday, features teams of drone innovators, like those from Shield AI, who take part in more than 30 demonstrations of drone technology for officials from U.
SOCom, headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base, spends billions each year on commando goods and services so innovators use the event to impress those with the checkbooks. The idea, said James "Hondo" Geurts, head of SOCom acquisition, is to see what the innovators have to offer, match up the needs of the warfighter, and rapidly field the products.
But in addition to showing off capabilities like the Hive Mind Nova, or a crawling ground vehicle like the Ghost Robotics Minotaur, ThunderDrone has served as a way for companies to come together and develop new systems. A collaboration between a company called Asylon, which developed an automated method of replacing drone batteries, and Endeavor Robotics, which makes ground robots, is an example of that, said David Viens, a retired Army Green Beret with Endeavor Robotics.
The company spun off from the maker of the Roomba robot vacuum. The two companies who had never heard of each other before developed what might be a game-changing system. The Asylon product, which can essentially run flying drones around the clock by keeping them powered up, can deliver Endeavor Robotics' small ground robots to dangerous places. Said Guerts, "We are seeing a lot of potential for drones to help us do our mission in special ops, whether its providing surveillance for the teams, collecting information or providing force protection. But we also need to think about drones as a threat, because our adversaries use the same kinds of capabilities.

AP News in Brief at Thunder 55, Celtics Celtics 64, Thunder It looked as if this was a team putting it all together, building on a dominant performance in Milwaukee a few nights before, and showing evidence of what it can be. The second half was a series of breakdowns mixed with poor shooting, leaving the Celtics to make their way back from 18 down to out-execute the Thunder in crunch time. It was disjointed, it was ugly.
And while it was all kinds of disappointing, the Thunder didn't react much to it in the locker room afterward. We're starting to shoot it well, we're starting to find some rhythm, we're starting to figure out how to attack and be aggressive. It was just a rough night, like Melo. Melo makes some of the shots he's been making all season long, we'll be totally fine. Russell Westbrook didn't really have it either, going 7-of for 19 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists plus 6 turnovers.
George was solid, but struggled at various times, finishing with 25 points on 9-of shooting. In the second half, coming out in that third quarter, it was just too many mental lapses. That's not who we are. We know what type of team we are, and that first half we showed that. Donovan mentioned "mental stamina," suggesting the team might have relaxed some from the charged-up, locked-in focus the team had in the opening half.
Whatever the reason, the Thunder failed in a variety of ways as the Celtics cinched up the paint, perimeter shots stopped falling and Irving shook loose. As one team staffer said before the game in Milwaukee, it might not be until Christmas that the Thunder really sort out their identity. That feels like a long time, but Westbrook is adapting -- quite well, mostly -- while Anthony and George are finding their way alongside the reigning MVP.
They want to be an elite defensive team, letting that end of the floor carry the day while they figure out the offensive side. That formula, for at least the first 24 minutes, was on full display. Once the defense slipped, so did everything else. When they win, it'll be about how it's coming together and they're figuring it out. When they lose, it'll be about patience and giving it time to gel. It just turned November, so that's OK for now.
They've played eight games together; some good, some not as a good. They've lost three very close games, and dominated in their four wins. They're back on the road for three games -- at Portland, Sacramento and Denver -- and at some point, they need to start stringing together performances and looking bigger picture.
That time hasn't come yet. Kyrie Irving's big second half leads Celtics past Thunder rssfeeds. But at least they went home smiling as the Raptors ended their brutal day road trip with a nine-point win over the Utah Jazz. The Raptors shot a season-best DeRozan has never been known as a 3-point shooter 28 percent in his career , but he got loose for some at key times that hurt the Jazz. So that was huge. Neither came close to matching their season averages of 8.
I try and support our main guys. I think we did a pretty job with that. At least Poeltl gave the home crowd something to cheer about in an otherwise dismal fourth quarter. Poeltl missed a pair of free throws with 6: DeRozan scores 37 as Raptors top Jazz for trip rssfeeds. The AP's reconstruction— based on a database of 19, malicious links recently shared by cybersecurity firm Secureworks — shows how the hackers worked their way around the Clinton campaign's top-of-the-line digital security to steal chairman John Podesta's emails in March It also helps explain how a Russian-linked intermediary could boast to a Trump policy adviser, a month later, that the Kremlin had "thousands of emails" worth of dirt on Clinton.
The messages urged users to boost their security or change their passwords while in fact steering them toward decoy websites designed to collect their credentials. One of the first people targeted was Rahul Sreenivasan, who had worked as a Clinton organizer in Texas in — his first paid job in politics. Sreenivasan, now a legislative staffer in Austin, was dumbfounded when told by the AP that hackers had tried to break into his email — an address he said had been dead for nearly a decade. Almost everyone else targeted in the initial wave was, like Sreenivasan, a staffer whose defunct email address had somehow lingered online.
But one email made its way to the account of another staffer who'd worked for Clinton in and joined again in , the AP found. It's possible the hackers broke in and stole her contacts; the data shows the phishing links sent to her were clicked several times. Secureworks' data reveals when phishing links were created and indicates whether they were clicked. But it doesn't show whether people entered their passwords.
Within hours of a second volley emailed March 11, the hackers hit pay dirt. All of a sudden, they were sending links aimed at senior Clinton officials' nonpublic addresses, including those belonging to longtime Clinton aide Robert Russo and campaign chairman John Podesta. The Clinton campaign was no easy target; several former employees said the organization put particular stress on digital safety.
Work emails were protected by two-factor authentication, a technique that uses a second passcode to keep accounts secure. Most messages were deleted after 30 days and staff went through phishing drills. Security awareness even followed the campaigners into the bathroom, where someone put a picture of a toothbrush under the words: After repeated attempts to break into various staffers' hillaryclinton. It was there on March 19 that they targeted top Clinton lieutenants — including campaign manager Robby Mook, senior adviser Jake Sullivan and political fixer Philippe Reines.
A malicious link was generated for Podesta at Moscow time, the AP found.

Documents subsequently published by WikiLeaks show that the rogue email arrived in his inbox six minutes later. The link was clicked twice. Podesta's messages — at least 50, of them — were in the hackers' hands. Three new volleys of malicious messages were generated on the 22nd, 23rd and 25th of March, targeting communications director Jennifer Palmieri and Clinton confidante Huma Abedin, among others.
The torrent of phishing emails caught the attention of the FBI, which had spent the previous six months urging the Democratic National Committee in Washington to raise its shield against suspected Russian hacking.
