It is not a book that you sit down and read from beginning to end. I've read and re-read lots of parts of it, skipped parts, come back to them and will continue to read, learn and grow spiritually from this book. I carry this with me and when I have a few minutes, pick it up, find a highlighted part and re-read it.

The book addresses the importance of prayer and strongly emphasizes that everything must be prayed for.
The author is however too authoritative in putting her message across, to the dislike of others like me. She softens up a bit towards the end and I could relate to the examples she was giving. The prayer examples she gives at the end are profound.
The book started out as gripping for me and I thought the author covered good grounds like sins in our lives hindering prayers and a few other topics. There are appendix at the back for prayers which are compiled and helpful.

While it's obvious that the author is very passionate about prayer, I disagree with a basic theological assumption that she builds upon, namely the authority of the believer, a core belief held by Charismatics. She attributes far too much power and authority to the praying believer. The battle is too much about us. Her statement, "The only reason the world enjoys whatever peace and blessing it does is because godly men and women are praying.

Prayer Warrior Book of Prayers pp. Thank You that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive my sin and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness 1 John 1: I refuse to allow the enemy of my soul to throw guilt in my face. Your blood on the cross , Jesus, has paid the price for my sins. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin 1 John 1: Father God, thank You that Jesus was obedient to Your plan and willingly shed His blood to provide my redemption and defeat the enemy.
I know that His blood is precious and powerful. As I apply the blood of Jesus over myself and my loved ones, I am declaring to the enemy that he cannot violate that boundary. I give You praise for the protection we have through the blood of Christ. Jesus, I have peace beyond comprehension because of what You accomplished on the cross for me. Help me to stand secure with my feet protected by the good news that You have already prepared and secured for me.
Because I have peace with You and from You, I am able to not only stand strong but to walk forward against the enemy and take back territory he has stolen from us all. Thank You also that You have given me faith and have grown my faith in Your Word. Lord, help me to put on the helmet of salvation to protect my head and mind each day by remembering all You have saved me from, including the lies of the enemy.
Enable me to remember only what You say about me and not what the enemy wants me to believe. Thank You that Your helmet of salvation protects me from warfare in my mind.
Your salvation gives me everything I need in order to live successfully. I will remember Your faithfulness at all times. Teach me to not only know Your truth, but to live in it. Help me to take up the sword of the Spirit every day, for Your Word not only protects me from the enemy, but it is my greatest weapon against him. Enable me to always pray as Your Spirit leads me, and to keep on praying as long as I should.
Teach me to be the strong and unshakeable prayer warrior You want me to be so I can accomplish Your will. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. LORD, help me to understand what my spiritual weapons are and to become proficient in the use of them. Grow my faith to believe You and Your Word without doubt. I know that as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are Your ways higher than my ways, and Your thoughts higher than my thoughts Isaiah The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
I adjure you by God, do not torment me. In this situation, the man who was possessed by a legion of demons had supernatural power to rip apart chains. Because a legion of demons was in full control, the man would be classified as possessed and would need to undergo a major exorcism by the Catholic Church. According to the Catechism in section , The solemn exorcism, called a major exorcism, can be performed only by a priest and with the permission of the bishop.
The other type of demonic attack is called oppression. A good example of demonic oppression comes from Luke When Jesus was teaching in the synagogue, there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. Afterward the Pharisees started arguing with Jesus about healing on the sabbath. He responded to them in Luke Does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger, and lead it away to give it water?
And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be set free from this bondage on the sabbath day?
In this situation, the woman was not possessed by evil, she had been under demonic oppression for the past eighteen years. Maybe somewhere in her past the crippled woman committed the sin of idolatry by channeling messages from spirit guides or by participating in some other form of divination.
If this were the case, then demonic spirits would have the right to enter her body and remain there until those agreements were broken. Because the crippled woman made the vows and agreements with demonic spirits, it would only be appropriate that she be the one to denounce them and to ask Jesus to take up residence in her heart.
