    Love the series, can't wait to read the next and the next. If this ends too soon, the author will have to start again. I have enjoyed all of J. I feel that the history placement and follow thru of events makes his book interesting to read. Close a general history lesson with out the classroom. One person found this helpful. Once again, a wonderful read!

    Crosswind 5: Snowfall (Book 2)

    Holden's writing had me captivated, unable to put the book down until I had finished it. Waiting for book four: Without tragedy there can be no great love story. This series has both. Chapter One is so beautiful I was tempted to go no further, but then I would have missed the adventure and tragedy that ensued. I found Flint and Steel to be the most satisfying installment so far. As were its prequels, it is entertaining, educational, and inspiring.

    There is no single era for enduring love, honor, duty and patriotism. This read has never been more relevant. I highly recommend it. Like they talked that way in I am afraid that I have beenHard and truly hooked on the life of Jedidiah Cole. Jed is many things; farmer Cole embodies the best of what we envision to be the American hero and patriot.

    Jed represents what the men and women who settled this great nation and his adventures grant us a snapshot of life in thosse times. Times when a man's sterength and woods lore meant survival and a man's word was his bond. As inhis earlier books Holden's knowledge of the day to day life on the pre-revolution era is remarkable as is his working knowledge of weapons and tactics of settlers and native americans. The saga goes on and with the expectation of what will happen next each time you turn the page.

    I haven't been dissatisfied since starting my reading of Jedidiah Cole and am earnestly awaiting for book four. I highly recommend this series, as you will not be disappointed. Very hard to put down once you have started reading. Thanks for the surprise you left my office. I know it will be as enjoyable. Sorry I missed you!!
