First of all, I want to thank the author for all the nice notes that came with the book and that were written in the book. It is lovely personal touch and I appreciate that. Now when I look back I realize that I have no idea what is the target group for the book. People who know what censorship is?
Although I am officially still youngster, this book did not talk to me. It was telling too muc Got the book through Goodreads First Reads. It was telling too much and explaining too much for me, and definitely too much for "unspoken" or "unspeakable" in this case.
And by explaining one perspective or situation so excessively, I, as a reader, get robbed of chance to understand or imagine myself. Also, the figurative speech sometimes was too unimaginative "I am bitter, you are bitter, like a tea without sugar.
Besides that I want to compliment the drawings. Their simplicity is a perfect addition to the text.
The book is not bad, maybe it's simply not for me. Or maybe I just read it on the wrong time, like "on Mondays - when your coffee is too hot, or too cold to sip.

It is a must-read for all ages as it educates the world about psychology, feelings, memories that haunt us, and that there is a lot of optimism in our lives, but it solely takes the human eye to uncover and embrace optimism in a world where pessimism rules the world. Different from other books as it contain simple words which anyone can understand. Very deep and meaningful thoughts Worth more than 5 stars. One person found this helpful.
