Being a librarian means seeing a lot of strange things every day, and experiencing them all over again at night. They aren't usually that bad, maybe the occasional zombie chase dream, or one night - forgetting his pants on an artifact retrieval. The third of my Librarians series. In the wake of revelations at the end of And The Quest for the Perfect Day, the team have a new project in hand. Can they stop it?

Will they stop it? And at what cost? She wanted it to be more "masculine" to both set the scene for Jack and his story and to draw in more male readers which makes total sense. It is also because she wants to keep Jack a mystery and give her readers little bits about him as the book series progress. This is a very smart thing to do. It keeps the readers intrigued and hanging for more. Jul 03, Irene rated it it was amazing Shelves: This book was action packed the minute you started reading. Never got bored with it. Vivien was very detailed in everything she wrote. This is my 2nd book of Vivien's that I have read and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Jack is on a mission to find someone near and dear to his heart. He runs into Lilley in a small down on his way to find the person he is looking for. Lilley is a waitress. Well she owns the small diner. Jack got himself into some trouble when he first got into Windswept, and Lilley was deputized in watching over him until he leave town.

Lets just say trouble seems to follow Jack in this small town. He opens up to Lilley and tells her who his looking for and what he has done to get where he is today. But I also discovered I enjoy the lifestyle. It suits my personality. I'm an alpha kind of guy. I mean in a way we all want an alpha male. I loved this whole book.

You need to read this book I highly recommend it. If her and Jack stay together. Or if Jack finds the 1 person he will got to hell and back to find. I swear you will not be disappointed at all. Her new series "Jack Stone" is a whole different adventure to that of her recent steamy erotic books!

My friend Lori and I were going to tag team you. Then Jack Stone, you have the random chick write YOUR name on the window using her own "juices" to show that you own her. You just met her. Another thing, Jack Stone, is the overuse of your name, Jack Stone. Do you think that you are Jason Derulo? You are just not as bad ass as you seem Jack Stone. I'm sorry Jack Stone, I don't love you anymore.

Then with the same hands he used to beat the guy senseless, he can make love to a woman better than she has ever had it before!

The ending almost hurt to read even though I knew it was coming. I can't wait for the next book in the series to see whose ass Jack is going to kick next! Things just didn't add up for Jack with his sister's disappearance, more so after he started hearing of young women being kidnapped and trained to be submissive sex slaves, then sold to wealthy men. Jack does one of the only things he knows to do. And, that is to delve into the world of BDSM so he can better understand his enemy - the men who purchase thes Jack Stone And, that is to delve into the world of BDSM so he can better understand his enemy - the men who purchase these young girls.

Come to find out, he enjoyed the lifestyle, not the buying of young women, but the learning of what women want and giving them what they need. Now that being said, the BDSM was a very small part of the story - two scenes, and somewhat light at that - no tying, no spanking, just alpha male bossiness. After a year and a half, he sets off hitch-hiking across the country in search of clues that might lead him to his sister.

These clues lead him to the tiny town of Windswept, AZ. While in Windswept, at the local diner, he meets Lilley Pond - owner, operator, waitress, cook and janitor. He discovers, through the local paper, that two girls had turned up missing the week prior and couldn't help but think, more like his military intuition lead him to believe, that there was or could be some sort of connection to his sister's disappearance.

Here's where all hell breaks loose. Day one in town and he beats the ever living crap, in Lilley's defense of course, out of two mouthy out-of-towner diner patrons - who turn out to be a somewhat key part to the story. Jack then becomes Lilley's responsibility, courtesy of the Sheriff's Deputies. Lilley takes him home with her while helping him get the lay of her , the land and the locals. Jack soon learns he's getting closer to finding, not his sister, but some small time players in the kidnapping ring itself as well as the two missing local girls. But, they quickly find out.

Does he find out who took the two local girls, is there a connection to his kid sister?

He blows into town and determined to get to the bottom of things, and potentially rescue two more kidnapped girls. Fast paced, violent, exciting, and shamelessly sexy, I was glued to the pages of Wild Justice , needing to know what happened next. Jack Stone is a sexy force to be reckoned with, both in and out of the bedroom. He forges an unlikely partnership with local diner owner Lilley Pond, and their chemistry heats up the pages. She also shows herself to be an essential ally when Jack needs it the most. The story itself is engaging and action packed, and I couldn't wait to find if and how Jack would save the day, solve the mystery, and rescue the kidnapped girls.

When his time in Windswept is over, the strong, solitary Jack Stone leaves the way he came, and leaves the reader wanting more of Jack and his quest for justice.

It was not only the physical strength of him, nor was it the steady confidence of him. She broke the kiss at last, her eyes wide and fathomless as she explored the the details of his face from the hard, uncompromising jaw line, to the tiny creases and marks of life that had chiseled into features around his eyes and the corners of his mouth that all seemed to heighten the effect of power an strength and determination; the face of a man who lived by his own rules, dictated his own terms to life.

Walnut Creek in Queensland or something like that: He should really get a full length novel one day! The whole BDSM thing didn't make any sense - it didn't fit the story! Ok - if you want them to have lots of sex - make it an erotic suspense thriller - but all that BDSM talk and then nothing really BDSM-ish is happening?? I hope it will be better! This is the story of a man who is a brother and a son who seeks justice for his sister who was possibly abducted and sold as a sex slave. Jack is on a crusade to find his sister or, at the very least, find out what happened to her.

This book took me on a journey that included suspense, awesome action, fire, explosions and a tiny bit of BDSM. In other words, everything. The first chapter had me melting me on my chair and every chapter after that, kept me enthralled. I was reading so fast that I had to go back and reread passages because I felt that I had missed something important.
