The story had humor, emotionally touching moments, good musical references, and hot sexual tension. Unlike many of the current popular books these days, this story has no cliff hanger, is complete in one novel, and provides a satisfying realistic HEA. I received this book from the author as an ARC for an honest review. As usual, I struggled with this book because of its 1st person POV, but stubbornly persisted this time.
The plot is interesting, the characters are likeable, and it is well-written. Glad it was free.

I also thought that Drake was supposed to be a Dominant but you don't realize until the second book why he let's her get away with things Dominant's don't usually.

Also that every single man in the book wanders around giving orders and "not taking no for an answer" - tossers, the lot of them. It's on the right track, too. Had the book been shorter I probably would of given it 3. The story was mostly humorous, in that Kate was the worst submissive.
This probably would've been better if the one chapter was in her point of view and the next his. Another stupid story about a ditzy bimbo sub after a rich dom guy Where's the BDSM novel about the average working class couple and not these millionaires?
Disheartening to the max for those interested in exploring the lifestyle.
