To make things worse, the local shrink has been murdered and it's revealed he's been prescribing sex with him as 'therapy'. Bay and Landon are learning that there are extra challenges to living together but no challenge is too great as long as they are together and yes they are super schmaltzy in a great way. Aunty Tillie was her usual wonderful self, I found the angst Bay felt over changes in her relationship with Chief Terr I really loved this story, it had the usual witty sarcasm and humour that I have come to expect from Amanda M Lee plus a great supernatural mystery and visits with all of my favourite character's.

Marcus has his own reasons to hate the Keepers. Please try again later. For me those personality traits are wearing on the nerves and detract from the story. This book has a guest hanging around again while Bay, Chief Terry and Landon. This book has so many different things going on in it I am surprised Bay doesn't go completely nuts.
Chief Terry dating bothers Bay so much plus she doesn't like or trust his new girlfriend. That makes it difficult to work together investigating the latest murder. I loved all the different facets of this story. It was fabulous as I wou This is one of my all time favorite series. Land on was a lot more relaxed. Aunt Tillie seemed more behaved in this one but don't worry, she was still doing her own thing behind the scenes.
Mrs Little is still if not more evil, some more character development or insight. Maybe just a further look at the crazy she is. Lol Would have liked a few more scenes with Sam and Marcus but you can't get everything. We did get to see more of Chief Terry. I'm really looking forward to the Caravan crossover.

I am looking forward to the next book so I can see what Amanda Lee has planned for my favorite witches. Well done as usual. This is why Amanda Lee is my favorite author. Amazing books I can't get enough of these books the characters are fantastic with all there quirkiness, but aunt tillie is a whole different league, she,s nasty, hurtful sometimes, explosive attitude, she,s the strongest out of all of them, but she loves them all and will do ANYTHING for her family she,s loyal above all else, she,s hilarious in what she does and she doesn't have a care in the world hope there's a lot more to come.

This is total light relief and I always look forward to reading about Bay, Landon and her troublesome family. This time Bay is caught by surprise on a personal twist that she wasn't expecting, however her instincts as ever prove to be spot on. The fun is in waiting for everyone else to catch on. Highly recommended in the cosy paranormal genre and a favourite of mine.

Amanda Lee does an awesome job creating clear, well defined characters, both witchy and mundane. Despite Hemlock Cove 's small size and population, each murder sounds plausible enough that the plotlines don't get make me feel like I'm wasting my time reading these books.
