Zuckerman thinks Wilbur looks fine, Edith says, ''He's filthy behind the ears Every time Lurvy slops him, the food runs down around the ears. Then it dries and forms a crust. He also has a smudge on one side where he lays in the manure. Zuckerman is not keen on the idea, Mrs. Zuckerman puts on a raincoat and boots and gives Wilbur a bath in buttermilk! And right spang in the middle of the web there were the words 'Some Pig. They were actually part of the web, Edith. I know, because I have been down there and seen them.
