His huge asshole personality and cockiness was so compelling and addicting, I just couldn't get enough of it. And Christ almighty don't even get me started with his filthy mouth! Actually, his wit and strength made me admire him even more. Especially after finally uncovering his past and understanding why he turned out to be this cold, heartless lawyer.

Yeah, this guy deserves so much more in life after all of that.

Etymologies

I loved Aubrey Everhart's smart and talented ways too. I really adored how she always stood up for herself and did everything so she can pursue her dreams in dancing ballet instead of finishing law school. She may be a lot younger and more naive than Andrew, but she got all of him handled and he didn't even know it. Thinking about it, there wouldn't be any other woman more perfect for Andrew than this girl—no matter the age difference.

It was a hook, line and sinker for both of them from the very beginning. The story was so much deeper, has so much more substance than it seems and than I actually thought. I was so thrilled with the cat and mouse game Andrew and Aubrey had going on the entire time. I especially loved the time where Andrew started groveling and found ways to win Aubrey back. It was so hard to stop listening to the book because it was just that entrancing.

Without a doubt, this'll be one of those books that I'd go back and read again. Hamilton and his super glue-y floor FTW. Andrew is so damn hot. My top book boyfriend for He knew what he wanted, and he went and got it.

Damaged but driven to get over his past and move on, he turns into a player. He meets women on DateMatch and bangs em. No way does he want to be in a relationship. He has one main rule: He doesn't lie to his one night stands, he just puts it right out there. But when you are that hot and domineering, not many women will tell you no. I know I wouldn't.

He is witty and controlling, thank god. Our heroine is strong and smart, but young. Too young for Andrew. Or so he thought. He can't stay away from her, no matter the circumstances. They are on fire throughout the doubt and fighting. Nothing can smother their heat though, not even themselves. No matter how hard or far they try to run, they always end up back together.

You could feel the love and uncertainty.

Whitney did an amazing job with the steam. Not too much, just right. The character development was perfect. Seeing how Andrew slowly started to change, without his own permission, for Aubrey. How Aubrey came into herself by telling her parents to shove it, so she could pursue her own dreams.

The epilogue almost made me cry, I was so happy. It was just perfect.

This is my first read from this Author but definitely will not be my last!! Go read this, you won't regret it. An outstanding work of art or craft. The greatest work, as of an artist. Something superlative of its kind. View all 6 comments. I can tell the difference. I liked the connection Andrew and Aubrey had right from the get-go when they were both using different names. But because she stands up for herself in all other aspects I was ok with that.

But not you know what I mean. I knew something was up with Andrew and it takes a lot to know what that is. Now I am not saying it justifies him in any way but it does make you understand him better. The back and forth is something I love, I love the banter.

Reasonable Doubt: Full Series

At some points I thought my heart was being ripped out of my chest with how sad it got. This series made me feel so much, the smile on my face and the laughter that escaped was absolutely incredible. I LOVE when a book can bring these emotions out of me so simply. The drama they go through brings them to where they are at the end and although some parts are heart breaking it was needed for them to get where they currently are and that's just perfect, I love a good HEA! So super happy I came across these books, I'll definitely be reading more from this author.

The best series ever! Ok, i sound like a 5year old, but it's true. I loved it and it became my favorite series. I loved -well i still do- Andrew Hamilton because he is so perfect, sarcastic, funny and well Aubrey gave him a run for his money and she couldn't be more perfect for him. Yes, there was couple descriptive OW and H scenes. H's Wife comes back and the H keeps trying to get laid in order to forget the h. Doesn't really make it clear not if the H was actually with any OW but he was actively trying to have sex with OW.

What have I gotten myself into?! The first episode went about as smoothly and gradually as a sledgehammer through glass does. Straight to the point, with direct and dire consequences to everything around it. And I loved every word of it! The story went directly to what mattered most in the plot, quickly introducing awesome characters and making me adore them right off the bat.

I went through every possible emotion while tapping the screen of my Kindle. And let me tell you that the sex scenes are about the hottest I've read lately. And I have read my fair share of smut. After episode 2 I wanted to smack Andrew's head so bad! What a condescending, egotistical, self-absorbed goddamn asshole! He needed to grovel something fierce, all his past be damned! These novellas are too goddamn short and even though I absolutely loved the direct approach, I would have appreciated more time alone with my all-time favorite literature asshole and his ballerina.
