Jul 12, Ben rated it really liked it Shelves: Self-professed auto-didact Neil Kramer has certainly made his life a bold research project in the mystical strains of most of the world's traditions. His experience and earnestness come through nicely, but with the slight constraint of an Englishman.

As is the case with others who draw riches from a variety of traditions to mold together an eclectic path of their own, he doesn't leave a clear practical path others may follow--his journey has been absolutely unique. Those looking for specific pra Self-professed auto-didact Neil Kramer has certainly made his life a bold research project in the mystical strains of most of the world's traditions.

Those looking for specific practices, meditations, etc. The rich philosophical discussions make it worth a read, however. Kramer covers topics I've rarely, if ever, come across within books related to esoteric spirituality. His chapter on "The Distortion," for example, is a bold spiritual take on the corporate, New World Order style hegemony of the materialistic world. And I especially appreciated his appeal to creativity as a necessary form of evolvement and expression.

His take was unique and refreshing. Feb 25, Wilhelm rated it it was amazing. Developing higher conscious awareness, being in tune with the universe, and challenging the consensus, are some of the themes. Thinking about reading it? This book is partly brilliant, and partly… Well, I don't know what to say! There are, for example, several references to David Bohm in the book, but I get the impression that Neil Kramer doesn't understand what he writes about.

His use of Bohm's notions are sometimes far-fetched, and sometimes not radical enough. Again, because I don't think Kramer understands Bohm. Other parts of the book are full of life wisdom. What you can expect: A hike through truth I downloaded this sample way back before the holiday season and read a few pages while on a road trip. I wasn't ready yet. I was looking for yet another LOA money book and this wasn't it, so I moved on. Then a few weeks ago, I found it in my kindle inventory again. By this time, I had had a couple "4D" experiences, realized the desire for "things" is not what this life is about, and had undeniably and irrevocably started the trek of my awakening--at least, I had become aware of it as all of us are trekking our path all the time. This book brought me to tears in the beginning several chapters--confirming my recent experiences and revelations, a longing to return to my Self, as part of my Unfoldment.

It felt awesome that I was led to Kramer's book so that I could sort of have an expectation of what is to come and some explanation of some of the unusual happenstances of my life. One of them being--and I wish to personally thank Kramer for this--a very annoying, totally polar opposite avatar of myself who I now know is simply a shadow of myself.

I was really in the thick of it with her when he explained all about our shadows. Now for the negatives: One being crop circles.

I have already read a book about crop circles changing our DNA when we gaze upon them--otherwise, I would not have gotten the point of him going on about them at all. There were a couple places like that in the book but the overwhelming truth overrides any negative. If you think you should get this book--you should!!

Thank you Neil Kramer for going before me and being brave enough to blaze your own trail so that we can benefit from your observations Neil's book is a gift for any and all on the Spiritual path or even if you are like most of us with one foot in and one foot out of the system. In this one piece of work, he covers what is going on with "reality" and how we as humans can better understand ourselves and the world we exist in. There is no foo foo here, only honest clear truth. He has not channeled this truth, but lives it and has given us his beautiful wisdom in this written work.

Chapter 21 alone, "Undoing Woundedness" is a treasure worth receiving for all who have been hurt by being human! It could save years in conventional therapy and pharmaceutical treatment once you understand how to identify these wounds and how to let them go.

And there is not a single person who will go from birth to death as a human without getting emotionally wounded on some level! I am reading the book again and again and sending it as gifts to friends and family. Having left "the box" over nine years ago, getting rid of the television and seeking to find the relation between who and what I am to this conscious universe, I implore everyone to read this book! We are so fortunate to have this shared knowledge from this man, it is the most helpful book I have read in seeking understanding and empowerment in these times.

I would like to communicate a heart felt thank you to Neil Kramer for helping me make an important course correction. Like many seekers, my story starts in not resonating with the bible. Although raised by agnostic parents, occasional summers were spent with cousins who were devout Christians.

My uncle would read to us from the bible every night, which created more questions than answers. Fast forward to college, classes such as Comparative Religion, Theories of Consciousness and Understanding the Old Testament did not answer my questions either. The book stated the author investigated "Ancient Wisdom". I had no idea what Ancient Wisdom was, but maybe it could answer my questions.

That's what I've been searching for. I gobbled up her book faster than a chocoholic gobbles up a plate of triple chocolate chunk fudge stuffed brownies.

As Morpheus would say, I was "beginning to believe" Sidetracked by conspiracy theorists that shall remain un-named. All the momentum that I'd built up the previous years, stopped in its tracks. I then spent several years preparing for the economy to collapse, riots in the streets and death by chemtrail.

By the time rolled around, the sense had been completely knocked out of me and I didn't even realize it. I was broke, unsuccessful, unhappy, unhealthy, and most importantly One day I ran across a Neil Kramer podcast. I found myself back on the path to clarity, knowledge and inner vision immediately. Listening to Neil's podcasts as well as The Audio Cleaver, I made one of the most important course corrections of my life.

I let go of "the sky is falling" mentality that had gripped my paranoid brain and once again embraced life. Having become so familiar with Neils work, I pre-ordered the book!

Synchronicities began popping up immediately upon reading the book. For instance Neil writes about "becoming the wolf" through meditation, rather than understanding the wolf through observation. I've never subscribed to, or ordered a Wolf magazine.
