Interesting read While I found this book interesting and somewhat enjoyable, for me there was just something missing. I did like the story and the characters and am still trying to work out if Caden is some sort of Vampire. Aug 08, Stacy Reid rated it it was amazing. It was more than interesting; it was intriguing I would say. There are aspects that I truly loved and other aspects that I wanted more of. I could picture the seediness of the sectors, the hover drones, the militias and the race for survival. I admit that I wanted more of a connection between C Mads and Julianna.
I could see the attraction but I wanted to feel it more. But, being the first book in the chronicles it was a good set up to the wonderful world I am sure Aral will unfold more over her upcoming series.
