Climate at Katra is normal, but at the hilltop Vaishnodevi it will be too Cold even if you visit during peak summer, so better have the backup clothes for especially for children, minimum woolen support clothing can be taken for elders during this season for the hilltop stay. We got an opportunity to visit a rice mill where workers showed us the process of dehusking. We also learnt about their PDS system. The majestic view of the receding sea at Chandipur beach, Balasore, provides a beautiful sight with lots of fishermen walking five to10 km everyday to pick fish and other valuables.
