I had to return it. I thought I was buying an original book, in 'new' condition. Instead, I got a newly printed paperback and the print is too small. I can't see to read it, even with my reading glasses. If I had gotten an original printing, it would be small type but I could read it.
I'm very disappointed and discouraged. A very well-written and researched novel written by the future author of Ben-Hur.
This was the first of Wallace's three novels, focusing on the collision between the Aztec Empire and Spain's Hernando Cortez.
