Cast on 3 stitches Row 1: Knit into the front and back of the first stitch, purl, knit into the front and back of the last stitch. Knit row Row 3: Knit into the front and back of the first stitch, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, knit into the front and back of the last stitch. Knit row Row 5: Knit into the front and back of the first stitch, knit 2, purl 1, knit 2, knit into the front and back of the last stitch. Knit row Row 7: Knit 4 stitches, purl 1, Knit 4 stitches Row 8: Alternate rows 7 and 8 three times.
Knit 2 stitches together, purl 1 stitch, knit 2 stitches together. Knit 3 stitches together.
The leaf above is the wrong side of the leaf and the leaf below is the right side. I prefer the wrong side of the leaf and will use that side for my projects: Cast on 3 stitches. Knit into the front and back of the first stitch, purl into the back of the middle stitch, knit into the front and back of the last stitch. Knit the first stitch, purl the rest of the row and knit the last stitch. Knit 1 stitch, purl across the row, knit last stitch.
