I think this is a very good series. Memorable characters and a really unusual plot with a witch a warlock and time travel. Onto the third one now. This book went in really unexpected directions. I really didnt see this coming. I though they would be in Montana for the whole of book 2 again. But a lot happened, they traveled to a few different distant places, and the fantasy elements got much heavier.

But it was so short: But the scene near the end was totally heartbreaking and their love is totally epic. I cannot wait to read book 3, but I dont know how This book went in really unexpected directions. I cannot wait to read book 3, but I dont know how it will work out. Poppy admit that if it hadnt been for Angus, she never would have met Cade. But maybe they will be immune to the changes. When dealing with time travel you can sort of make up your own rules.

Dec 13, Catarina rated it really liked it Shelves: This will be a short review because I really don't want to give the book away. Ok I really was scared to start this book. I mean the last book ended with Cade forgetting Poppy, its not exactly something I was excited to read.

All I can say that even though he didn't remember her in the beginning, we weren't Cade deprived. I loved the cabin in the woods, and in a weird way I loved their trip to the Witch's World. Their adventure, purple sand and the witch's council were all really interesting. Popp This will be a short review because I really don't want to give the book away. Poppy has seriously grown since the first book. She was a little immature and naive in the first book, but after everything she went through it was easy to see how she had to grow up.

I really recommend this series. I hope the author does more like this. This review can also be found on my blog: We visit a third new world, meet new characters, and have new adventures. I loved the setting in this one. I have always been intrigued by the time period and I loved seeing Cade adapt so well.

Time travel

Except for his jealousy. I thought he was being very foolish about that. I liked Colin and Pearl and I am sad that I wont see them again. In a way, this story felt incomplete or that it c This review can also be found on my blog: In a way, this story felt incomplete or that it could be revisted in the future.

Cade and Poppy are safe and together and happy, but Angus is still out there, and the Council is still corrupt. They saved themselves but not their world. I suppose that is more than I should expect from them, but I am just used to stories where the characters go all the way to solve all the problems they see, especially in all the dystopians I have read.

Although a sacrifice was made in order for them to be together, I am so happy that they finally are.
