She wants to get explain her actions to Jake and see if he is still willing to take her back. Jake never gave up hoping that Teresa would return, even when the rest of their friends assumed she was dead.

When Story of Jake and Teresa. When his dog alerts him and he arrives at the scene of an accident, he is shocked to find Teresa behind the wheel!! Can Jake let go of the past hurt and can Teresa get over her abusive relationship, which seems to colour her perception of the BDSM that Jake hungers for?

Book two in the Blazing Heart series and features the story of Jake and Teresa, two people who was in a relationship until Teresa left town without an explanation. She returns ten years later to get explain and to get Jake back. Jake never gave up on the woman he loves searching for her even though everyone assumed she was dead.

Their first meeting doesn't go as planned since Jake saves her after an accident. Will Jake and Teresa get over their past and begin again or will history repeat itself. This story does have mild BDSM scenes so if this is not your cup of tea then this isn't the book for you. Even though this book is short and to the point I wished it was longer so we could get more of a backstory of our main characters and those around them. I received a copy of this book for a honest review Oct 01, Melissa rated it it was amazing.

We met Jake in the first book in the series, The Bet. Now we meet the woman and realize why Jake was afraid of Lexie running away. When Jake was younger he was in love with Teresa but when he told her of his kink she ran away not to be heard of again. Well now she is back and she comes back with a bang. She nearly dies but is saved when Charger, Jake's dog, barks until he comes to see Teresa's car in the river.

After years away she comes back hoping Jake still wants her and is still available. Upon arriving she takes a bend too fast and plunges into the river and almost dies. Jake takes the male action of not wanting to talk about the past once he has his woman back.

A short story that is better than the first in the series but still too short. Teresa ran for so many reasons but only one was she didn't think she could be what Jake wanted.

Well things gave changed and she is coming home. This us a mid western type story of guys who like the BDSM lifestyle but it's very playful and not over the top. Great story, great characters, but I wish it was longer I didn't want it to end Jake has been in love with the woman that left him years ago because of his BDSM needs.

Jake grew up on a farm that helped troubled boys become strong men. When he was growing up he feel for a girl and told her all the tough thing he never told anyone. She ran and he never knew why. This book starts when she crashes back into his life. This is a short but good story.

I like how she has to prove why she left and how she is here to stay. Apr 20, Denise Mcnamara rated it it was amazing. This is book 2 and just as good as book 1. This story takes you on the journey of Teresa and Jake.
